Future looks bright for our Blues

The future is looking bright for the Blues and I couldn’t be more excited for it.  This years draft has gotten me more excited.  Blues not only got a solid pick in Robert Thomas but also dumped Lehtera for Brayden Schenn.  Yes we gave up this years 27th overall pick and a conditional first round pick, but we traded back into the first round and possibly got the biggest steal in the draft in Klim Kostin.

Armstrong managed to make two trades in this years draft that I never thought he could pull off.  We finally got rid of Lehtera and two first round picks for a great player in Brayden Schenn. Armstrong also somehow traded Reaves and a second round pick for the 31st overall pick in this years draft (Klim Kostin) and a decent prospect in Oskar Sundqvist.  This offseason so far has boosted the Blues as a team now and for the future.

I want to individually review each of the Blues top prospects in separate stories.  Including Thompson, Kostin, Walman, and other exciting prospects.
