Ottawa Senators pull off the biggest trade of the season and acquire Matt Duchene from Colorado. 

Montreal deals Alex Galchenyuk to a Western Conference contender by the deadline. 

New York Islanders fail to extend John Tavares to a long term contract during the season and hold onto him at the deadline, despite rumors. 

Bold Predictions (Blues): 

Jake Allen finishes top 5 in the NHL in 2 of the 3 following stats: Save percentage, Goals against average, and/or shutouts. 

Paul Stastny will hit the 50 assist mark for the 1st time since 2010. 

Tage Thompson will remain in the Blues for lineup the entire season. 

Blues will make multiple deadline deals this year. 

There will be 3 20 goal scorers: Tarasenko 53, Schenn 28, and Schwartz 24.
